Beautiful log home off of scenic Playhouse Road with spectacular view of Mount Rushmore right from the deck! Situated in close proximity to Custer State Park, some of the most beautiful and sought-after land in the Black Hills. This is more than a cabin, it's a log house that feels more like an executive retreat with the high-quality furnishings and all the amenities of home. Full access to guests includes the secluded, private property with hiking galore. The home itself is a spacious kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom, laundry, entry and deck from the first floor. Up the sturdy staircase is the upper level with a loft area (2 queen beds and sitting area), separate bedroom with en suite and large closet, and upper deck access from the loft area. The home is not a shared space, you'll have it to yourself! Local contact available, owner nearby but not on-site. This is one cabin in a privately-owned collection of 3 cabins located on a private drive, in a secluded mountain ridge. Keystone is the closest town, approximately 7 miles down a windy and scenic road. The most notable nearby landmark is of course Mount Rushmore, a quick 9 mile drive, visible from the property. Numerous other lakes, hiking, and wildlife loop in the immediate area. This home is available year-around, but we are sensitive to the mountainous roads during winter months. Snow removal is provided, but not on a daily basis. We will work with you in planning your trip, to avoid any winter road hazards.
