Henley House Kin Kin, Geodesic Dome House

Henley House is a uniquely designed geodesic dome recently completed in August 2019. We are situated amongst the rolling hills of Kin Kin; a beautiful and tranquil area of the Noosa hinterland. The Noosa Hinterland has so much to offer; you can do as much or as little as you want. We are:- 2 minutes to Kin Kin township, Black Ant Gourmet Café. Country Life hotel, massage and yoga retreats. 15 minutes to Boreen Point, Apollonian Hotel, Lake Cootharaba. Sailing and windsurfing. 20 minutes to Pomona, Majestic Silent movie theater, markets, restaurants, Mt Cooroora, home of the King of the mountain. 30 minutes to Harry's Hut and the famous Noosa Everglades. 30 minutes to Eumundi, the famous Eumundi markets. 30 minutes to Cooroy, Noosa Botanical Gardens, Cooroy Butter Factory, restaurants. 40 minutes to Noosa, Noosa National Park, gorgeous beaches. Surfing, fishing, boutique shopping, restaurants. Within 35 minutes enjoy one of many golf courses. Less than 1 hour to Rainbow Beach and a little further to Tin Can Bay and the barge to Frasier Island. 1 hour to Maroochydore Airport and 2 hours to Brisbane Airport. After a days hiking, biking, golfing, fishing or whatever takes your fancy, end the day with a relaxing soak in the spa. You will have private access to the entire one bedroom studio apartment. There is a shared spa. We have plenty of parking. We live on the property so are available most of the time. Always more than happy to have a chat and give you local recommendations for things to see and do in our beautiful part of the world. From our house you can walk up the top of the ridge and see the ocean, Noosa, and Lake Cootharaba. The Noosa trails network offer many mountain biking and bushwalking options. Take the Bruce Highway north from Brisbane, about 2 hours, southbound 1/2 hour from Gympie, then exit 237 and follow the signs through Pomona to Kin Kin. We are 2.4 KM past the township on the left. You will see the sign for Henley House. If you have trouble locating the house, we are across the road from Living Valley Health Retreat. We have 6 acres to explore, there is a natural creek and a dam on the property, so please watch your little ones. There is space available if you want to bring your own bikes.
