Dairy House Self Catering Annexe

The Dairy House Annexe offers comfortable, relaxed, quiet self-catering accommodation with stunning views over the water meadows and the Frome valley. Optional Chalk Stream Fly Fishing also available here in the heart of Dorset. Close to the Jurassic Coast. We are down a long drive so it is pretty quiet. The annexe has its own garden, seating, loungers and bbq for your use. You are welcome to walk the river 1.5 miles providing no one is fishing on that day/evening (please check before). Well behaved dogs are permitted but most not be left in the property alone. Please bear in mind we have cats living here. Own garden, plenty of parking, garage to store bikes etc, beautiful river walk on doorstep with a "no right of way" although fishermen have first priority. Always willing to share in the delights of Dorset, what to see and where to go .... Small Village to the East of Dorchester (approx. 3 miles), fabulous local pub The Wiseman Inn, amazing coastline a close drive away, quiet location ..... The Wiseman is a very popular "foodie" heaven and booking is strongly recommended in advance of your visit. 2 railway stations in Dorchester (3 miles from Village), being the London line and the Bristol line. There is also a station at Crossways/Moreton that continues on the London line. Buses are few and far between but times can be sourced. A taxi into Dorchester is generally between £8.00 and £10.00 depending on time of day. Ample parking at the Dairy House with use of garage should you need to store bikes or motor bikes undercover.
