The Coast House

The Coast House is located in the idyllic coastal town of Guilderton where the Moore River meets the sea. The Coast House is situated opposite natural bushland, near the lighthouse and only a five minute walk to the beach. Sitting high on the hill the house offers great ocean views, from the living room and back deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials including a gas stove, oven and microwave. Pots, pans, tableware, glassware and cutlery. Basic condiments, salt and pepper, tea, instant coffee and sugar are all provided at no extra cost. Seasonal herbs, chillies and tomatoes are grown in the garden and are available for guests’ use. The main living area is a huge open space with three windows overlooking the ocean. There are two large couches, a coffee table, TV, mini hi fi, kids corner and a dining setting for eight guests. A gas barbecue is situated on the sheltered front verandah next to an outdoor dining setting. A selection of board games, books, magazines,playstation 2 and a selection of CDs is available for guests use. The mini hi fi is compatible with an iPod or mobile phone. For those who are more interested in the outdoors, boogie boards, beach cricket and totem tennis are provided. Porta cot and highchair available on request. The entire house and garden are available for guest use. Access to shed only available by arrangement with owner. We can be contacted by phone at anytime during your stay should you have any problems. Guilderton beaches are perfect for surfing, swimming and fishing. While the Moore River provides calmer waters making it a great swimming spot for the kids. It is also ideal for barbecues, canoeing, stand up paddle boards and much more. Further up the river the thrill seekers can fly down sand dunes on boogie boards. Most places in Guilderton are within walking distance, however if the foreshore of the river is a bit far for little legs a parking voucher is provided for guests during their stay at The Coast House. All beds will be made up for your arrival with freshly laundered linen. Bath towels are provided for each guest and some beach towels are also available for guests to use during their stay. School holidays have a minimum 5 night stay.
