Your own private cabin in the woods! A great getaway adjacent to Mohican State Forest and Mohican area activities. There is no TV in the cabin, so you can enjoy the natural setting of the cabin without distraction. NOTE: there is a walking path and steps to get to the cabin, steps up to the front door, and an open staircase to the sleeping loft. The driveway to the cabin is up hill and gravel, accessible by all cars in the Spring/Summer/Fall. Less than a mile from Pleasant Hill Dam and north entrance to Mohican Forest. Cozy cabin with outdoor deck, outdoor grill and a fire pit (all for your own private use.) On the "less busy" side of Mohican. Easy drive/access to hiking and canoeing, and mountain bike riding. Short drive to one winery and close to several other wineries, Malabar Farm, and Amish country. Feel to ask for suggestions on what to see and do! Note: There is no TV in the cabin to distract you from the beauty of nature and "getting away from it all." Note the steps and path to the cabin. Wifi is available (cellular hotspot; not always fast speeds, due to being in the country); most cell plans work from the cabin, suggest using your own phone/hotspot as back up if you plan to work (although leaving work behind is highly suggested!) Enjoy the entire cabin to yourself. Owner's cabin is on the property, situated away from the guest cabin and guests have the tiny cabin, their own fire pit and grill exclusively. Owners are accessible via phone at all times and have another personal cabin on the property. Looking for things to do or want advice on area attractions? Just ask! The cabin is adjacent to Mohican State Forest land, in the woods. No Uber, this is country life! Be prepared for path/steps to the cabin and to access the cabin as well. The gravel driveway is a 600-800 feet long; switchback up a hill. Accessible by all cars, except in winter with lots of snow, so front-wheel/all-wheel drive may be necessary in the winter/snow.
