Mountain of Witches - Shared room 1

Dom na Slivnici is a mountain lodge a little below the top of mountain Slivnica (1114m) in city Cerknica. This mountain is known as the Mountain of Witches, because witches used to gathered here. People used to believe they cooked bad weather in the cave nearby. There is a beautiful view to Cerknica lake which is one of the biggest intermittent lakes in Europe. Suitable for nature hideaway, to relax from every day high pace, to get away from technology and get in touch with yourself and nature, experience a little adrenaline sleeping in a lodge surrounded by forest where bears live. I's a real experience. Staff is always available as we also have a bar open every day. On weekends there is quite lively, we have many hikers and cyclist that stop by and have a meal or drink. It's a popular spot for hikers, cyclist, nature and peace lovers. It's known for witches and Witch cave, and Cerknica intermittent lake. The lodge is reachable with a car or a bike. Down in the city Cerknica bus, train and rent-a-bike is available. Many hiking trails lead to the top.
