Haulwen Apartment With Lovely Sea Views in Dale
Haulwen is a light and airy upstairs apartment with gorgeous sea views. The property is situated in the quiet seaside village of Dale in West Pembrokeshire. The surrounding area boasts lovely beaches, fabulous walks along the Pembrokeshire Costal Path and the chance to participate in numerous outdoor activities such as sailing, windsurfing and fishing. From the private front door, a flight of stairs takes you up to the landing where there is plenty of storage for coats and shoes. To the left there are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed and lovely sea views. It also has a TV, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The second room has two single beds and two small chests of drawers. There is a bathroom with a large L-shaped bath and electric shower, toilet and sink unit. The main living area has a kitchen/diner at one end and a lounge which has sea views, a TV and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect, including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. Haulwen has gas central heating. We live in the village and can be contacted in case of emergency. Dale is a hidden gem on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Because it is within the National Park, the village and surrounding coastline is unspoilt and offers a relaxing break from city life. Numerous coastal walks are easily accessible from the apartment as well as two beaches that sit within walking distance. The sheltered Dale waterfront boasts an award winning pub called The Griffin Inn, Coco's Brasserie and the Boathouse Cafe, as well as the opportunity to rent sailboats, paddle boards, kayaks and much more. A short walk to the other end of the village brings you to the beautiful West Dale Bay, a perfect spot for viewing the Pembrokeshire sunsets. Boat trips to the world famous Nature Reserves of Skomer, Grassholm and Skokholm Islands leave from Martin's Haven and can be booked through Dale Sailing. Public transport is limited, although a bus route called the Puffin Shuttle can take you anywhere along the coast between Dale and St. Davids upon request. View the timetable on the (Website hidden by Airbnb) website. Cycling is a popular method of transport, although in order to explore most of Pembrokeshire it is recommended that you come by car.
