Located in beautiful Gulf Harbour on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula just north of Auckland. Handy to local cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, the public marina at Hammerhead and the ferries to Auckland city and the outer islands. Suitable for up to 2 people. Modern bedsit with off street parking. Double bed with cotton sheets (summer) or cosy flannel (winter), cotton coverlet. *Extra bedding/towels available - please ask if you need! Bedside table with reading lamp. 1 armchair. Television with Free view. Kitchenette with basic facilities for breakfast, tea/coffee making. Includes bar fridge, microwave, on bench oven, microwave, single electric hob, pots, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine. Small fold-out table and 2 bar stools. Ensuite with shower, vanity, toilet suite, towels, heated towel rail and complimentary toiletries. Ironing board and iron. Wall mounted fan. No on-site laundry facility. Laundromat/dry cleaners located 15 minutes away. This is a NON SMOKING property. (Please note: not suitable for infants/children) PARKING - There is ample parking on the road. The studio is fully self-contained. Access is via your own gated private courtyard. The key is in a lockbox on the pillar inside the gate. You will be sent the details when your booking is confirmed. During your stay, we are always available by email or text message or through the Airbnb app. Most guests value their privacy. You have the place to yourself. However, we are available via the Airbnb app, (preferred) email, text message. Once your booking is confirmed we can also exchange phone numbers. Gulf Harbour has been designed as a marina village. It is known as the 'gateway to the gulf'. We have regional parks and many beautiful beaches on our doorstep and are situated just minutes away from the world class Gulf Harbour Country Club. Other attractions nearby include Snow Planet, Go Carts, Silverdale Adventure Park, Wenderholm Regional Park, Shakespeare Regional Park and Waiheke, Kawau and Rangitoto Islands. Warkworth, Matakana and surrounding areas host many beautiful Wineries and have Markets every Saturday and Vintage Markets on Sundays. And if you feel like a spot of shopping, there's Silverdale Centre, Silverdale Mall and Westfield Albany not too far away. If it's dining out you're looking for, Orewa would be your destination, with every cuisine catered for, from yum cha to a good steak. The local ferry takes you to downtown Auckland in 45 mins. There are also ferries to many of the other islands in the Gulf. It is approximately 10-15 minutes walk to the Gulf Harbour Marina from the studio. This makes it a convenient and economical location for short stays if your boat is in for servicing. Local link buses also operate regularly between Gulf Harbour, Whangaparaoa, Orewa and the city.
