Holiday in typical house in Tuscany: sea and relax

Tuscany-flavor house in the heart of the typical village of Campiglia Marittima. Campiglia Marittima is a medieval village, seaside is just 5 kilometers away. The house is placed just under the castle on top of the village. For this reason the house can't be reached by car. You will be dining a few meters away from Italian Middle Age in a fresh and comfortable patio. The house is wide and spacious and particularly fresh during the summer. The animals are allowed upon approval and, anyway, you have to pay and additional fee of 25 euros forc cleaning (to pay when you arrive) Please note that in August, from 10th to 15th, in Campiglia there’s a festival named “Apriti Borgo”. After 6pm, you will need to pay a 10 Euros fee to enter the inner village (where the house is located). On the other hand, this festival is a very unique experience to live. The house remains anyway distant enough from the noise, open air markets, music, shows, … Please also consider that parking can become quite difficult in that specific week, which is also highest season for tourism. The house is 10 minutes walking away from the nearest parking and is located on top of an ascent. Therefore it’s not suitable for people with walking issues or aged. Some dust can fall from one of the walls, made with the original stones of the village fortress. Equipped with an independent heating system, the house is really comfortable. Campiglia Marittima is located in the Cornia valley, a place cultivated with olive trees and with amazing views on the Populonia and Baratti gulf. Nearby, beside the famous Baratti gulf, you can visit the mines of the Cornia valley, the city of Piombino or other villages like Bolgheri (famous for its cypress rows) or Castagneto Carducci where the famous Italian poet Carducci was born.
