You'll find us on the outskirts of the Milatos village, in Crete's Lassithi region (North-East): a magically serene location in-between mountain and sea, surrounded by olive groves. It is a place of peace, and custom-made for relaxing. Its location, Cycladic exterior architecture, living spaces and incredible sea views will steal your breath away... every single day! We speak French, Greek, and English The 12 apartments are designed to host 2 to 3 people. Measuring approximately 28 m2, they have a living area with kitchenette, one bedroom and one bathroom - and let's not forget about the sea view balcony... For families or groups up to 6 people, we offer apartments that communicate with each other by a private patio. All apartments have a different style. You can choose the one you like the most when booking. Drawing from our long experience with upcycling, we have made most of the furniture ourselves, using bits and pieces from the old furniture, wood elements, etc. that we managed to salvage at the time of the hotel's renovation. The hotel has many outdoor spaces to allow everyone to dispose of it according to its desires; Pool area with a large pool of 100m2, a garden area in the shade of olive trees for a reading or a nap, a space with tables and chairs for friends, a bar and various outdoor lounges. Here you have access to all of nature - trails crossing the great outdoors, moving along the shoreline or spreading through the surrounding mountains (we will provide all necessary information). We organize for our visitors agro touristic programs, to make you discover, share and support Cretan uniqueness. Olive tour, botanical hikes, meeting with a shepherd with visit of his sheepfold and his cheese dairy, day meeting with producers of Cretan wine and tastings, etc ... Our visits all take place in small groups of a maximum of 8 people accompanied by a guide-translator. Right outside the hotel, discover our quaint little village. As with many Greek villages, Milatos is divided into two distinct locations: one of which is inland, surrounded by olive groves. Traditional and well-kept, it makes for a pleasant walk along peaceful streets brimming with flowers. The other, by the sea, is livelier thanks to its small fishing port and nearby tavernas. Here you can find a bakery, a mini market, a kafenio (traditional coffee shop) and several tavernas. There are many other places to discover, close to the hotel; Milatos caves, Selinari monastery, Sissi village, the Neapoli museum of local history of, Elounda bay with Spinalonga island a little further at 3/4 hour by car. You also have easy access walking to the beaches of Milatos. We recommend travelers who come to Crete to rent a car. The island is large and it gives them more freedom to move around. We can help you find rentals at the best price. The hotel has free parking for its guests. If you do not have a car, you can easily travel by bus from east to west of the island and there is a stop a few kilometers from the hotel where we can pick you up. If you come from Heraklion port or airport we can book a taxi that will pick you up or tell you which bus to take if you come in during the day. So that your stay with us also turns out to be a gastronomic escapade, our chef prepares authentic Cretan dishes and "mezzes" that you can enjoy along with local wines at the hotel's taverna. If you feel like it, come and enjoy our delicious Cretan breakfast comprising truly fresh produce such as yoghurt, fruits, cheeses, eggs, as well as discovering local bakery products, pastries and biscuits.
