Private 4 room apartment with a large kitchen, comfortable and spacious, private entrance with no stairs. Rural setting just 2 miles off Hwy 78 located 11 miles from Athens where the Dwags rule and 5 miles from Monroe known for its hometown appeal, good restaurants and antique shopping. Only 50 miles to Atlanta and great events, 45 minutes to Stone Mountain Park and Lanier Islands.... Great for a family adventure, a romantic getaway or just a great place to come for a visit. Come stay awhile! The Carl House is located in a rural area with cattle and horse farms. Bikes are available to explore the area. Walk the property grounds or just sit on the patio and relax. There are 3 state parks near-by offering a variety of activities. The fenced back yard is available for your children and pets. Children are free, but there will be a small fee of $25.00 per pet. The deck, patio and all outdoor spaces are accessible. Convenient parking for 2 vehicles. Uber is available. Social activities may be planned from time to time. The Carl House is located in an area of estate homes situated on 3 or more acres of land surrounded by larger farms. The surrounds are beautiful and undisturbed with gentle hills and winding roads. Deer and other wild life are abundant. Easily accessible to major highways making for an easy commute to sporting events in Atlanta, UGA events and shopping in Athens, Stone Mountain Park and Lanier Island Water Park. Hartsfield Jackson Airport is approximately 50 miles. The Carl House is our personal residence along with my two fur babies, Mandy and Peaches, and 7 chickens who provide fresh eggs for breakfast. Dog friendly but I do expend guests to be good pet parents and not allow their pets on the furniture and the bed.
