Nestled in the idyllic Cheshire countryside The Snug offers the perfect couple's retreat with two private terraces and a hot tub perfect for relaxing in after a days exploring. With its sweet one up one down layout it's perfectly planned with a kitchen and living area, spacious bathroom with shower and double bedroom. Situated between the villages of Norley and Crowton both with village pubs you are ideally situated to explore beautiful local walks, Delamere Forest, Chester and beyond. Enter through the ground floor and you are welcomed into a cosy kitchen and living area with fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up a romantic meal for two. A comfy two seater sofa sits snugly under the stairs for you to cosy up on and watch TV. The beautifully appointed bathroom is also on the ground floor with heritage vintage gold fixtures and fittings including WC, sink and shower. You are also provided with fluffy towels and eco soap and shower gel Pad upstairs to your spacious bedroom set in the eaves with stunning original exposed beams. With a wrought iron double bed laid with crisp white cotton linens, ample storage with a wardrobe and set of drawers plus a TV you have everything you need for a perfect night's sleep. Outdoors you have a private terrace on both floors. On the upper floor accessed from the bedroom is a sweet enclosed outdoor area with bistro table perfect for a morning coffee. On the ground floor you also have an enclosed area with outdoor table and hot tub to soak away the days adventures. Sandhole Cottages are set in a working equestrian centre with holiday stables for up to four horses available on request (please contact the owner direct in the first instance) We are also dog friendly and welcome up to two well behaved dogs charged at £10 per night, they even receive their own welcome pack! Please let us know if you are bringing a dog when booking. We are ideally located for walking, cycling and riding with the many wonderful footpaths, cycle routes and bridleways on our doorstep and beyond We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Snug and ensuring you have a wonderful stay Whilst you can enjoy a quiet weekend with us on foot if want to explore further a car is necessary. Although very rural we are only 15 minutes from the M56. We have a large onsite car park with an EV charger for a small fee. Our local stations are all served by connections from mainline stations. Delamere is approximately 2 miles away and Frodsham is a 6 mile drive away, both of which are serviced by trains from Chester. Acton Bridge is 2 miles away and is serviced by trains from Manchester Piccadilly. The Snug is set between the quiet villages of Norley and Crowton both with village pubs. There is a fabulous village store in Norley selling local produce and deli items. We are 10 minutes from the magical Delamere Forest and 30 minutes from the historic city of Chester home to Chester Zoo. We have many other local attractions including Wild Shore Delamere Water Park, Go Ape Delamere, Manley Mere, numerous National Parks and the market town of Frodsham. For those looking for some city life we are also driving distance to Liverpool and Manchester. If you are looking for a more quite retreat we have many beautiful walks on our doorstep including the famous Old Pale where you can look out over seven counties, the Whitegate Way or take a stroll through the magical Delamere Forest.
