Kampung Baru, a residential area located right in the middle of the Kuala Lumpur city centre, is also located right next to our apartment building. It is one of the oldest residential areas in KL and has been reserved as a township for the ethnic Malays. The neighbourhood features traditional one and two storey wooden houses placed against an exciting backdrop of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline. Kampung Baru Hawker Stalls also offers an authentic Malaysian dining experience. The best way to get around Kuala Lumpur is by using Uber or Grab (equivalent of Uber in South East Asia). The fare is usually less than 10 Ringgit (USD 2) for most touristic locations. KTM Putra station is at 2 minutes walking distance from our building, and 6 minutes away from LRT PWTC station. There is a mini market right downstairs near the lobby. A gigantic Sunway Putra mall is also within 5 minutes walking distance from our apartment.
