Looking for a tranquil break from city life then a visit to Eureka Farm and a stay in our bungalow may suit you. Aimee's bungalow is a very comfortable place to stay suitable for up to 3 persons. It has a fully equipped kitchen with two bedrooms. Quite close to our cafe where you can enjoy a continental breakfast and meet your hosts. You can get involved with farm activities; with nice walks both on the farm and nearby. Swimming , fishing canoeing and lots more are nearby. As a special offer we do a continental breakfast for our guests in winter. Toast, fruit and muesli with tea or coffee. Free for 1 guest per night with extra guests charged $8 per head. The bungalow is entirely for the quests. It is close to our farm cafe and shop and in a short walk you can visit our dam and orchards. The dam is in a forest of white and blue gums. We are in a very scenic location with forests surrounding us. You can see the Scamander river when you go up to the top orchard. You can hear the ocean when the sea gets rough. In other words we are close to these places. Fishing and swimming and exploration on foot or bike is possible. We have bikes on the farm too. Public transport is not great. There is a daily bus from Launceston. If you come by bus we would meet you at the drop off point. You can get to our place easily if you are travelling around Tasmania by bicycle and many of our visitors come this way when touring. But for most a car is desirable. It is a working farm and many things are happening all year round. In summer fruits are being picked. Jams and desserts are made in our commercial kitchen with our fresh produce. Other times oaf the year we are pruning weeding or something. Never a dull moment.
