The Porta Briona apartment is located in the Casa Mosoni residence, a historic nineteenth-century building. The place is rich in history and charm, in the heart of Domodossola. Recently the entire structure has been completely renovated, with taste and respect for tradition. We are located at the entrance of Via Briona, the ancient merchant's street, the most characteristic of the city. In the Middle Ages the pentagonal walls opened at this point with the main access from the north, Porta Briona PPorta Briona is a comfortable and pleasant apartment, equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning, located on the third floor and easily accessible by elevator. Offers a view of Via Briona from above which is unique! The renovation has retained the original wooden structure of the roof, as well as some parts are in exposed stone. All this conveys a warm atmosphere. The apartment is ideal for couples, friends or single travelers, but can also accommodate four people. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, induction plates, a coffee machine and a table with four chairs. A beautiful piano bar in solid larch wood will be the ideal place for your aperitifs !! Room with double bed (160x200 cm), living room with double bed opening sofa (140x190 cm). The room is located in the inner side of the building, a silent place from which you can admire the mountains to the west of the valley. The house is located a few meters from the Piazza Cavour public car park. Casa Mosoni is a beautiful blue building located at the entrance to Via Briona and clearly visible from Piazza Cavour. The international train station and the bus station are just a 5-minute walk away. We are available for information, communications regarding accommodation, key collection. Walking along Via Briona, ancient street of the merchants, it is really pleasant. In this historic street with stone roofs, in the nineteenth century it was passing the diligence, pulled by five horses, that ran through the Simplon road. Reach the spacious Piazza Mercato, sit at the table of one of the many coffee bars, browse the architecture of the square while sipping a drink .. it is a pleasure not to be missed! Continue then for the smaller squares nearby, characterized by many suggestive corners. It is possible to visit the city center by walking. The International Railway Station and the Vigezzina train station can be reached within a few minutes, as well as the departure point for buses to the Ossola Valleys and to Switzerland. Public car parking is available just a few meters from Casa Mosoni. According to Italian law, upon check-in it will be required to show a Recognition Document and sign a short Tourist Lease Contract with a duration equal to the days of stay in the accommodation.
