Holiday cottage with small private fishing lake, barbecue and table beside it. In secure garage for your car, motor-bike or boat you'll find 5 bicycles ready for your use. The cottage (90 square metres) is located at the heart of a small picturesque village which boasts a 13 th century castle. The cottage has equipment for babies, ideal house for couple or a family. The cottage has a 3 star rating, classed as "meublé de tourisme" (furnished touristic accomodation) There are 2 terraces with garden furniture : sun-loungers, tables and chairs and barbecue. In the midst of pure, authentic countryside you will be enchanted by the inhabitants warm welcome and the friendly service provided by regular visiting shop vans. The holiday cotage is only 700 metres from Eguzon Lake , the largest lake in the Center region (320 hectares) where you will be able to practise all sorts of water sports : water-skiing, canoe-kayak, rowing, sailing, swimming and fishing. Boats are available for hire with or without a motor. French bowls ("pétanque") pitch in the village. Numerous jetties for fishermen to be found around the lake. You can catch pike-perch, perch, cat-fish, black-bas and pike. Three rivers, the Creuse, the Sedelle and the Gargilesse complete the picture for fishing. For ramblers and walkers : 300 km of signed footpaths will enable you to explore our very beautiful area along river banks and through woods. Rich architectural heritage around with numerous castles, manor-houses and others monuments. The villages of Fresselines and Crozant are well know as being the cradle, the nursery of Impressionist Painters. Claude Monnet painted many pictures there. Armand Guillaumin among others, immortalised the landscape of the confluence of the two Creuse rivers and the banks of the Sédelle. "EVERYTHING FIRES THE IMAGINATION.... How to get there : - Motorway A 20 Exit 20 - Go to Eguzon-chantome and go staight through the village at the cross-roads and on towards Orsennes and Cuzion on the D45 - After crossing the bridge aver the river Creuse take 2nd turning on the right the D45A "route du val de Creuse". - Go staight on as far as siger to BONNU on your right. - Once in the village follow sogers to the beach. We much enjoy having visitors and are happy to welcome them at the hour which suits them, the only condition being that they warn us of their arival about 1 hour beforehand so that we can be ready and present to welcome them. During your stay we remain at your disposal to give any information or advice, you can always contact us by phone. You will find several restaurants dotted around the lake and in the villages nearly. Ramblers' footpath maps, magazines and brochures about the area and the programme of local events and festivities are at your disposal inside the cottage. You will also find a file containing practical instructions and cultural information. * Sheets provided and beds made on arrival. * Hand Towels rental : 6 € per person. * Electricity: electrical statement made on arrival and departure in the presence of the tenant. Payment for consumption. * On entering the accomodation, if not before, the tenant will pay the sum of 400 euros deposit, "le dépot de garantie", to the owner or his representative. * The state of cleanliness of the accommodation at the time of the tenant's arrival must be noted down in the inventory of fixtures, "l'état des lieux". The tenant is responsible for cleaning the property during his stayand prior to his departure. The owner can charge the sum of 50 euros for cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition. * Insurance : the tenant is responsible for any damage caused by him. He must be insured by an insurance contract for rented holiday accommodation covering the varios risks. The owner can ask for a copy of this contrat when the tenant enters the property.
