Stunning Balcony Room on Lake Norrell + Breakfast

This stunning lakeside room up in the treetops has a big balcony & bath. The top floor is private. King size bed. Second bedroom has 2 Queens sleeps up to 4 more with extra fee This is NOT a handicapped accessible home. No pets. Breakfast @ 9 20 miles to Little Rock or 40 miles to Hot Springs From romantic sunsets to rising sun this place has it all. High Speed Internet & WiFi Hosts on property Our home is located on Lake Norrell, ( Norr'ell) in Alexander, Arkansas. A 188 acre lake & 177 ft. deep . A get away haven for businessmen, honeymooners, lake lovers, fishermen and relaxation seekers. It's a secluded spot on a stocked lake (for him) wonderful views and charming decor (for her). Home cooked breakfast for you both. The guest floor is upstairs from the main level and very private. There are two bedrooms located on that floor which share the bathroom but we only rent to one family at a time. (If you have a larger group check out Escape to Lovely Lake Norrell sleeps 6.) This house is NOT handicap accessible. There are 4 sets of stairs. The kitchen, dining, living room, laundry and a gas grill on the porch of the main level are all SHARED areas. We use internet apps like: You Tube TV, Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, Amazon Prime, HBO Max for watching TV. We DO have High Speed Internet & WiFi including a booster for your connectivity. If you would like to bring your boat (no extra charges) please contact us for specific instructions on boat ramp and storage information. Lakeside lounge chairs, umbrella, beach towels, rafts, tubes for lakeside enjoyment are provided. Your welcome to have daytime guests, however special parking has to be arranged. Please talk to us about your plans. Your Guests must leave by 8 pm. Rooms are clean & sanitize including doorknobs, light switches and surfaces with Chlorox wipes or Microban. Bedding is freshly laundered and we mop, dust and clean between each guest. Your welcome to use the whole house except the master bedroom/bath and the porch on the main floor is reserved for the dogs. If you want to cook using the gas grill just let us know so we can make arrangements for your use. We have High Speed Internet and a WiFi booster. A outdoor dining table seats 4, also a refrigerator & lake toys are located on the lower covered porch. Beach towels, tubes, rafts, sunscreen, umbrella and deck lounge chairs. 4 extra folding chairs for dining available upon request. We rent 2 Kayaks There is a 40 inch smart TV in the Stunning Balcony Room. However we also have a 60 inch ultra high definition 4K smart TV with sound bar and subwoofer on the shared main level. Covered parking for 1 vehicle in carport. Extra parking up the hill requires permission. There is a free public boat ramp 3 miles from our home to access Lake Norrell. You may bring your own boat! You can put in your own kayaks or canoes in the lake from our dock. Swimming and fishing off the dock is encouraged, but their are NO lifeguards. You must supervise your children. And you must bring your own fishing equipment and bait. We are happy to make your stay pleasant. Please tell us how we can make your stay most enjoyable. Our feeling won’t be hurt if your looking for real seclusion! My husband William doesn’t know a stranger and has interesting things to say just about most anything, but we can be quiet as well. We provide a full breakfast each morning. If you have food preferences please let us know in advance, like: gluten free, sugar free, reduced fat, low sodium, vegan or have food allergies. If you want to cook your own meals while staying here please schedule your kitchen time or gas grill use with us the day you plan to use the cooking spaces. Clean up after yourselves. Dishwasher available. We are blessed to live here all year round. Many neighbors are weekenders, but they are a lovely community of people on Lake Norrell. The dogs will bark when you enter the home every time. They won’t bite you! Our Lake Norrell community is about 8 miles around the lake. We have very nice neighbors, but you won’t see them much, except when they are playing on the lake. It is very hilly and lots of curves on the roads around Lake Norrell, please drive safely and stay on your side of the road. NEVER take Rushing Road on any gps direction...... It's UNPAVED ! Car is ABSOLUTELY necessary unless your up for a challenge and bring your own bike. We do NOT have Uber pick up out here, however they will drop you off here. If your traveling from out of town, airport pick up & drop off can be arranged for a small $20 fee. There are plenty of places to hike, bike, picnic, fish or sight see within 1. 1/2 hours drive. We live in a VERY hilly curvy area. You CAN NOT always see what is around the bend or over the hill so drive carefully at all times. We do have Deer, Fox, Raccoons, Lynx, Bobcats, Opossum, Skunks, Squirrels, Guinea, Armadillos and Rabbits galore, please drive safe especially at dusk and dawn. We live 10 - 15 miles to a grocery store or gas station. Come prepared. Dining in Benton or West Little Rock are about 25 minutes away. A plethora of restaurants and shops on Chenal Parkway in Little Rock or Outlets of Little Rock are about 35 minutes away. Magazines, books and snacks in the room are for your pleasure. Our tap water here is better than most bottled waters. Arkansas has some of the best rated water in US. We have patio furniture and lounge chairs on the porches and swimming dock for your use. There are beach towels, rafts, tubes, and extra chairs on the covered porch. The lounge chairs can stay on the dock during your stay. But any belongings must be brought up to covered porch when your finished for the day. We sometimes have strong winds that might blow towels (Website hidden by Airbnb) the lake. Only use plastic or paper containers while on the dock or on the porches. You may leave the wet towels over the porch rails (if not windy) or in the bathroom or leave them in the laundry room. Clean beach towels are available everyday. The steps down to the lake are rustic made out of railroad ties WITHOUT a handrail. Be careful and please take children by the hand. They have different heights and depths. Smoking outside with ASHTRAY is permitted. Do not discard butts or trash in the yard or in the lake. And if other guests are sharing the space please ask about smoking around them. If you need to dispose of things, please use bins or kitchen bin. Please don’t put items in the outdoor garbage can. If you leave food or food containers on the porch the raccoons will think it's an invitation. We do NOT have Uber PICK UP or PIZZA DELIVERY out here. If you need a ride to or from the airport we can do that for a $20 fee. (No more than 4 people)
