"Nell's" cabin at Cantarroso Farm

We are a mini farm with egg chickens, blueberries, and organic farming. We have two cabins. If this cabin is booked, you might check our Oza cabin. We strive to provide a welcoming, clean, comfortable but simple getaway.Our property is in a mountain river setting near the AT, other hiking trails, mountain streams, and on the Nolichucky River adjoining the Cherokee National Forest. We are a small homesteading farm. We have two cabins about 100 yards from the river. Enjoy the river trail, hammocks, and chairs by the river. Or just sit on a rock in the rapids and enjoy nature's massage! Parking is available at the cabin. Two covered decks, fire pit, beautiful mountain views and river access. We have hammocks, chairs, dining table on the river bank and a trail along the river. A charcoal grill is located beside cabin. We enjoy meeting and visiting, but give guests the degree of privacy they desire. We live in Unicoi County, which means "The Valley Beautiful" in Cherokee. Our nine acre property and 1200 feet of Nolichucky River front definitely meet that Cherokee description. Our house faces a class 2-3 rapid and we have plenty of riverside seating to enjoy viewing river activity. The cabin faces a field and mountains. A three minute walk will get you to the river. Free parking at cabin. If needed, we can arrange transportation with private shuttle operators to local sites and hiking trailheads. Though we love animals, we cannot allow animals in the cabin due to proximity to our chickens, possible allergies of other guests, and health department rules.
