Located within a large quiet park-like property, and not only just a ten minute drive from airport, but a few minutes stroll from a supermarket, restaurant, gym and public transport. We offer a luxury home away from home for your pleasure or business travel. High speed internet, and TV with chromecast included. Location: Northwood Super Centre, restaurant/bar, supermarkets, gym, shopping and main public transport - 5 mins walk Christchurch International Airport, Christchurch Antarctic Centre - 10 mins by car Clearwater Golf Resort - 6 mins by car Willowbank Wildlife Reserve - 3 mins by car or 37 mins on foot Christchurch City Centre- 18 mins drive Mt Hutt Ski field - 1 hr 35 mins drive The apartment is totally self contained. We live on the property so are likely to be around if there is anything you need, but we will respect your privacy. You are most welcome to enjoy the garden as there are different areas to catch the sun (or shade) and enjoy a drink or a quiet read. As we live on the property, we are totally available to help out with anything that our guests may need. We like our guests to feel their privacy is respected, but we are happy to chat when our guests want company. Although our property is tucked up a driveway at the end of the cul-de-sac and is very private, we are only a short stroll away from the Northwood Super Centre which has many major retailers including a pharmacy, electronics and variety stores as well as supermarkets, restaurant, and a gym. For the more adventurous, the walking tracks of the Styx Mill Reserve and Groynes recreational areas are also nearby, and accessible on foot if you choose. We offer free parking on the property if you bring your own vehicle. Transport from the airport is best by taxi/Uber/Ola as there is no direct bus route to us, but as it isn’t far it’s not expensive. Buses to and from the central city are frequent and the stop is just around the corner. The apartment kitchenette has a microwave, bench top oven, electric jug, toaster, toasted sandwich maker and an induction hob with a saucepan. An air fryer can also be made available on request, but no open pan frying allowed. It does not have an extractor fan so is more suitable for warming of pre-made dishes than full meal preparation.
