Country serenity on 7 acres

Our country home is set on an elevated 7 acres allowing amazing sunset views across to Mt Cole from the wrap around veranda. The house has been recently renovated and has all the facilities that will allow you to come away and rest and rejuvenate in the peace and quiet. Ample parking for 6 cars, an outdoor fire pit plus a wood fire for your enjoyment. Modern and spacious 3 bedroom house with additional sunroom with queen size bed allows for up to 8 people to comfortably enjoy the peaceful 7 acre property. Being only 2.5km from the centre of Beaufort you get the best of both worlds with both serenity and convenience Generally pet friendly but let’s chat first just to make sure that your pets are also house friendly. Sorry no cats due to allergy issues. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. Early check-ins or Late check- outs may be accommodated for an additional $50 if there aren’t other guests checking in or out that day. Contact us beforehand to enquire. Please note that our friendly community neighbours (who are also our cleaners) keep an eye on our place and report back on any rowdy behaviour or if there are more guests at the house than what has been booked for. Please do not attempt to accommodate more people than what you have booked and paid for and to avoid any awkward conversations we may need to have during or after your stay. The entire house is available to the guests. We keep some private things there but these aren't in the way of guests. Bookings strictly limited to a maximum of 8 guests We are contactable on text message, phone or email. We may not be in the area but can attend any issues that may arise. The pyrenees is littered with fantastic wineries. For those that love bushwalking, Mt Cole is a 20 minute drive and has the 20km Beeripmo walk. We highly recommend this walk followed by some drinks on the veranda to watch the beautiful sunsets. The house has a fantastic SMEG oven with induction cook top if cooking is your thing. There are often local farmers markets in the surrounding towns such as Avoca to get your supplies. The town of Beaufort has some cute cafes and a new wine bar where you can enjoy Tapas or an a la carte menu. (Magnolias). There are two pubs in town for those who are looking for a traditional country pub experience. The IGA supermarket is extremely well stocked with everything you will need for the weekend. It's a 30 minute walk from the property so not too far to stroll to town, grab a coffee and a few last minute supplies. We ask that guests don’t smoke inside the house. A please note that strictly there are to be no parties, gatherings or events held at or on the property and total guest numbers are limited to a maximum of 8. Early check-ins or Late check- outs can be accommodated for an additional $50 so long as their aren’t other guests checking in that day. Contact us beforehand to enquire about the possibility of any such arrangements. Guests may use any firewood that may be stocked at the house. However we cannot guarantee this supply depending on the usage by previous guests before you. Firewood can be purchased from the Beaufort IGA if needed.
