Traditional stone cottage (The Old Ferry House) on the banks of the river Tay. Super comfy King size sleigh beds. Oak wooden floors.Blackout blinds. Full double glazing and central heating. Open fire and stove and pool table. Hot tub, outdoor wood burning sauna, bbq and fire pit. Half a mile of trout fishing. Peaceful and secluded. If there are 1 or 2 night gaps- they are bookable via the calendar. Dogs welcome at no extra charge. Large 4 acre enclosed garden. This was the original Ferry House, built in 1860 . When there was a railway line, people would be rowed across the river to catch the train. The Ferry operated until 1965. There is a dining room with stove and the dining table converts into a pool table. The lounge has an open fireplace , well equiped with books, games and dvds. Fully equiped kitchen with electric double oven, grill. There is also a microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. We supply all utensils, pots and pans as well as foil, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. Covid update- We aim to re-open from the 15th July. The cottage is deep cleaned and sanitised after every guest The whole cottage is for guest use. There is a front and back garden with 2 bikes. There is also 4 acres of land to explore and complimentary fishing for trout. I am usually here to help with guest requests or help them but otherwise I will leave you alone Relaxing tranquil setting by the river . Peaceful and quiet Car is essential as we are 3 miles from the nearest village
