Campsite - (own tent/caravan/motorhome welcome)
Please note you must bring your own tent/ caravan or motorhome. You can park by your tent. The farm has easy access direct from the A487. Ideally located to explore Snowdonia and central to most activities in the area. It is an ideal central base for outdoor people to visit Llyn Peninsula, Anglesey, Porthmadog, all within 20 minutes away. If you require an electric hook up, please enquire in the first instance to ensure availability, there will be an additional charge for the hook up. Small friendly farm campsite, within easy access of main road, perfect base to visit Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. Close to coastal walks and the mountains. Please bring own caravan or tent - this is a basic old fashioned campsite, providing loo/shower facility (no extra charge for shower) in traditional rustic huts. Chemical disposal point and water. It is a farm, there may at times be farm machinery noise, perhaps animal noises, cows, cockerel, chickens, horses, dogs, cats, they do not enter the campsite, perhaps the odd cat or two may! We are also home to the rare lesser horseshoe bats, they can be seen/ heard most nights, along with owls and other wildlife. At public holidays a minimum stay of three nights is required. Close to cycle/ coastal routes. Lon Eifion cycle route only a 2minute walk away. Dogs are welcome and if you need to run the dog we usually have a vacant field, please just ask. We are not a large commercial , we do not increase our pricing over the summer period. The campsite/driveway and public footpaths. There will be no access to farm yard, or land. We will be on hand to offer guests any information and advice they need, but otherwise minimal interaction. Apart from that you are left alone to enjoy your stay. Farm location, easy access from the A487 , no close neighbours, with easy access to main areas of interest. 10minutes drive from local beaches and mountains. Close to many activities such as zip world (Europe's longest zip wire) Bounce Below (trampoline in underground slate caverns), go karting, indoor/outdoor climbing etc. There is the Lon Eifion cycling/ walking path across the road and also a footpath leading from the farm into the hills. We are the perfect base to visit Snowdonia. Location isn’t suitable for those depending on public transport. Railway station is at Bangor, 30 minute away with car. Also have local Welsh Highland Railway, based at Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Also plenty of taxi services available. Should you require an electric hook up please enquire first to ensure availability. There will be an additional charge upon arrival.
