Stay at our newly built 'Brufut Hideaway' comprising of x2 one bedroom villas. Cool and spacious in a quiet and peaceful part of Gambia within 15mins walk to the beautiful beaches of Brufut. Beautiful new build villa with 1 bedroom and ensuite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. Sleep in our super king wooden carved bed in cool Egyptian cotton sheets with ceiling fan and window mosquito nets. Store your essentials in our matching locally carved mahogany furniture including dresser, bedside tables and wardrobe. Shower in our ensuite spacious 'wet room' with rainfall hot shower and European flushing toilet and pedestal sink. Cook and entertain in our locally made Gambian kitchen with gas hob and oven, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster plus fully equipped with pots, plates and utensils. Relax in the private compound with soon to be complete fruit garden, shaded veranda and tiled walkways. Sunbathe without being overlooked and enjoy the privacy and security of the walled garden. Unwind in our living room with ceiling fan, spotlights and cool tiled floor with sofas and dining table. Full access to 1 bedroom villa garden and veranda. Local hand washing service available for laundry at a very low cost on site. Tour guide and assistance available as needed with a brilliant onsite, 100% trustworthy family friend. Gambian cuisine cooked on site. at a low cost, by a reputable, fully experienced in health and hygiene / cooking for Europeans Gambian friend. Hosts not on site but our watchman and close friend is on site to assist as much / little as required. Two very lovely dogs live on the site with the watchman. Quiet and peaceful away from the hustle bustle of Senegambia. Friendly, safe, beautiful area of Gambia. 15 mins walk to the quiet beaches of Brufut. Local taxis available from the main road which is a 10min walk away. Electric, hot water, gas and weekly cleaning is included in the cost per night. Please note due to the nature of Gambia utility services may be intermittent. No wifi / tv provided - please bring your own portable devices if required to watch DVDs etc. Watchman / our Gambian family friend is on site and can be as involved with you as little / as much as you desire - no hassle at all.
