2bedroom/2bathroom cottage QS beds, large bathroom clawfoot bath, full kitchen, dining room piano, lounge, combustion fire,large north facing deck. Electric blankets, heating & beautiful timber floors. Suitable for singles or 2 couples. (No children under 12 years). Short stays only -Self-service continental breakfast supplies included in the price - cereals, juice, milk, bread, butter, preserves, assortment of tea/coffee basic kitchen essentials salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sauce etc One small step at the front door. The Cottage features a full kitchen with appliances, toaster, kettle, convection/microwave oven, gas cook top, full size refrigerator, dishwasher & Nescafe coffee pod machine. Cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery & basic cooking essentials such as salt, pepper, tomato sauce, oil & vinegar are also provided for your convenience. Guests can drive onto the property through the gate on the right hand side of the cottage with access to the front & side of the house where their car is parked. The distance from your car to the entrance patio is approx 7 meters along a flat path with 2 small steps into the hallway. We appreciate that some guests may prefer total privacy & we are happy to oblige. We like to know that guests are happy during their stay and everything in the cottage is working & operative for their comfort. Contact can be made at anytime by phone, text or email or by knocking on our front door. A stroll along our level country road to Otford Station is only a 5 minute, very pleasant walk. We are also a 5 minute walk to Govinda Valley. Local cafe's, restaurants & Coles Supermarket are only a 5 minute drive to Helensburgh. The Royal National Park is virtually on your doorstep with many beautiful walks to be enjoyed. A car is recommended. We are only a short drive to Otford Pantry, Stanwell Park & Helensburgh. The houses are Heritage listed, double brick semi-detached cottages built in the 1890’s for the engineers and surveyors building the new South coast railway line. The double brick retains warmth in winter & cool in summer & also blocks out most of the sounds from any trains passing by. We have a guest book that dates back 11 years of operation & would really appreciate a moment of your time during your stay to add your comments. Please also let us know if you notice anything requiring attention during your stay, eg. light bulbs, extra firewood, assistance with the television or air conditioner controls, fans or other appliances so we can have these seen to for your comfort.
