The Byre -Idyllic cottage with farm animals

Limeslake Farm is an unspoilt country valley homestead- 27 acres of farm, ancient woodland and river. Friendly farm animals and stunning wildlife. On the southern fringe of Exmoor, its completely away from roads and offers a whole valley of priceless tranquility, with a chorus of birds and farm animals. Its lambing time in March, so come then if you like to see the newborns frolic. The Byre offers spacious, beautiful, hidden accommodation, down a long private drive way off the deep lanes of Devon. There are breathtaking views across the valley and access to the joys of the Exmoor wilderness and the stunning North Devon coastline. Sleeps 4, with additional cot available. We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance: We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay We comply with local laws and hold Visit England's 'Good to Go' certificate for enhanced cleanliness, abiding by their additional safety or cleaning guidelines Guests have their own tranquil grassed garden and patio. Beyond is a small, fenced duck pond (with runner ducks). You have access to 27 acres of smallholding, including ancient woodland and a river meadow teaming with deer, badgers, foxes, a myriad of wild birds and pheasants. On our smallholding we have ponies, goats, sheep, chickens, 3 cats, a dog and some teenagers. You are welcome to visit the animals and explore the land-the dogs, cats and chickens will all come and visit you. North Molton (2 miles) offers a pub, general store and post office. South Molton (4 miles) has a twice weekly rural market (including a live sheep market on Thursdays), supermarket and other small specialist shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and general facilities. The wonders of Exmoor are a mile up the road, the nearest coast is a 35/40 minute drive. We are surrounded by lovely rural villages and picturesque scenes. You will need a car to get here as we are down the deep lanes and hedgerows of Devon, but with quick access from the North Devon Link Road. You have your own parking at the Byre. There is a local bus from North & South Molton. Come and enjoy North Devon's beautiful coastline and sandy beaches, historic properties, gardens, mysterious moorland and picturesque villages. Or just stay on the farm, go for local walks, rest, play, bounce on the trampoline, cuddle the animals and throw balls for the dog.
