Kittiwake Retreat, a luxury escape by the sea!

A luxury, newly-constructed chalet with its own private balcony overlooking the sea & coastal footpath. The chalet is 5 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches of Gorran Haven. A complimentary bottle of champagne awaits your arrival! The living area & kitchen are well equipped & overlook the seaview. To the rear is the bedroom - equipped with king-sized bed & luxury bath, plus a walk-in shower & separate toilet. French doors lead off the bedroom to a private sun-deck. Friday check-in/out only. Kittiwake Retreat is designed with luxury and relaxation in mind. It has a coffee machine supplied with free coffee pods, a complimentary goodies basket upon your arrival and every essential like dishwasher tablets, wash powder etc are supplied. There is a modern bio-ethanol fire which gives a cosy feel to the living space - fuel is provided. The chalet is designed with two outdoor spaces for catching the most of the sun and for enjoying al fresco dining. Double doors between the living space allow views of the sea from the bedroom and indeed the bath! The French doors off the bedroom open onto the large rear decking which is equipped with comfy settee and chairs plus a dining table and gas BBQ. This area is extremely spacious, private and catches the sun all day long - a lovely place to relax, read and dine. The location of Kittiwake Retreat could not be more perfect for beach or coastal walking. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are all close by too. The owner lives in the neighbouring property and will be on hand to help with any queries and local recommendations on places to visit or eat. Gorran Haven is a very special village on the South Cornish Coast. It is unspoilt but can still offer many amenities. It has an excellent fish and chip shop, a village store / bakery which also acts as a cafe, pizzeria and outdoor live music space in the Summer. The village also has a beach cafe and a fine dining restaurant in the Llawnroc hotel and in the next village, (15 minutes walk) is the Barley Sheaf pub with restaurant. Kittiwake Retreat is 2 minutes walk from the coast path - from here you can walk towards the fishing village of Mevagissey or to the beaches of Vault or Hemmick. The chalet is situated on the Roseland peninsular with its many beaches and walks. Eden Project, Heligan and many more gardens are all within easy reach. As this is a very rural area, a car is recommended in order to fully explore the beauty of the area. However, the chalet is so perfectly situated, once settled in, an entire week could be spent walking from the door. There is everything one could require to be found in the village - village store with bakery, fish and chips shop, beach cafe, fine restaurant/bar, beach essentials shop ...You could quite easily leave your car on the drive for the entire holiday!
