Orton is a small market village established since the reign of Edward I in the 13th Century, which looks out over views of Orton Scar and the Howgills. There is a cute chocolate factory next door that sells amazing hot chocolate, a well stocked local shop with some local produce , Orton Scar cafe serves great homemade food and cakes and the local pub which serves traditional food is only 100 yards away from the front door. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at this property. Pets: Two dogs welcome. Parking: At the rear of the house, further parking on the road on a first come basis. Heating: Modern electric heaters, Garden/Patio: Small decked area at the back of the cottage with table and bench, not enclosed. No smoking at this property. There is a lovely village pub opposite the front of the cottage and Kennedy’s Chocolate factory is next door - both are firm favourites with guests.
