This property is ideal for exploring all that Cumbria, the Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire has to offer. There is a cute chocolate factory next door that sells amazing hot chocolate, a well stocked local shop with some local produce , Orton Scar cafe serves great homemade food and cakes and the local pub which serves traditional food is only 100 yards away from the front door. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at this property. Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen with a central Island with Electric double oven, grill, and seating for 6, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, Dining Area: Dining table and chairs.. Pets: Two dogs welcome. Parking: At the rear of the house, further parking on the road on a first come basis. Heating: Modern electric heaters, Garden/Patio: Small decked area at the back of the cottage with table and bench, not enclosed. There is a playground approx 100 yards to the rear of the property Short Breaks: Accepted all year round. Notes: Towels and linen are provided. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. There is a lovely village pub opposite the front of the cottage and Kennedy’s Chocolate factory is next door - both are firm favourites with guests. The village has a small local shop which is located at the top of the road and is well stocked with those things you Amy have forgotten. kennedys Chocolate Factory is next door to the cottage and has coffee shop which sells the most amazing hot chocolate.The local pub serves great food and drink. There is also Orton Scar Cafe which serves great food. Monthly farmers market ( 2nd weekend of the month) This property is ideally located on the coast to coast walk.
