Gullfoss Waterfall, the Great Geysir and Thingvellir National Park are all within 83 km of the property. Stracta is next door to many of the spectacular attractions in Iceland. Seljalandsfoss waterfall and Skógafoss waterfall are only 30-45 min drive from our hotel. The Black sand Beach in Vík is 1 hour drive from our hotel. If you like hiking then Thorsmörk is the place to visit ! We recommend our guests to arrive with a rental car, as that is the best and easiest way to explore our country on your own. However, the public transportation company in Iceland called Strætó does tours from Reykjavik to Hella - the ride with the bus takes about 1,5 hour.
