The Cottage, Leeds - delightful former coach-house
A delightful former coach house, warm, comfortable and full of character - close to the heart of Leeds but tucked away in a quiet courtyard. Enjoy the cosy stove in the winter months, or dine alfresco making use of the chiminea and bbq in the summer. A perfect hideaway for short breaks or longer stays. The Cottage is centrally-heated throughout and includes wifi, SkyTV, towels and bedding. There's a really good shower and unlimited hot water. There are two bedrooms - one double and one twin. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you should need and a few provisions too such as tea and coffee. Have a lovely stay - if there's anything you need just get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate. Guests have exclusive access the house and patio, with the exception only of the driveway which is shared with neighbours, and the conservatory to the rear. You'll have the place to yourselves but we're not far away, and pretty much always readily available by phone or email. Moortown is a great neighbourhood bustling with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants- and a great bakery round the corner. Nearby within easy walking distance there's Chapel Allerton; named in the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live, and Roundhay with its beautiful 700 acres of rolling parkland, lakes and gardens. Great walks in nearby Roundhay park, or around the Harewood estate which is a 15 minute drive or bus ride away. Opposite us are bus stops running to Leeds City Centre (15 mins) and Roundhay Park (5 mins). We're also very close to Harrogate Road, where regular buses run to Harewood, Harrogate and Ripon. If you arrive in Leeds by train, a taxi costs about £10 and takes 15 minutes - or catch a bus.
