Completely refurbished to a high specification, The Cabin is a family-owned one bedroomed annexe attached to our family home, Littlewood. The spacious self contained living space can accommodate up to 4 people, has a fitted kitchen (with washer/dryer), bathroom (with bath & shower), wood burning stove and it's own outside patio seating area. A dedicated drying room is also available for guests to dry wet kit and outside storage is available to store equipment (bikes / kayaks etc). The owners, Mike & Sarah, are very happy to assist guests with any questions about the accommodation and local area. Located in the small village of Dousland on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park, The Cabin is perfectly situated to explore Dartmoor and southern Devon. Dousland offers a small Post Office and local pub (The Burrator Inn) and is one and a half miles from the larger village of Yelverton. Given its size, Yelverton offers a suprisingly wide variety of independent shops and ammenities including a small local supermarket, butcher, bakery, bike shop, pub (The Rock Inn), petrol station, several cafes and a popular Chinese restaurant. A larger number of shops are found in the historic market town of Tavistock (seven miles away) whilst the large city of Plymouth is 11 miles to the south.
