Delightful family home

A spacious four bedroom family home with a beautiful country farmhouse kitchen. Set amongst the countryside in a quite rural hamlet on the outskirts of the Wyre forest. This listing is for hiring my entire home as a whole. The house is a converted cottage that has been extended & modernised whilst still keeping lots of character. On the ground floor there are 2x reception rooms used as sitting rooms both have log burners fitted. (Logs are provided) The kitchen is a large farmhouse style kitchen diner with a lovely aga and electric range This area is perfect for entertaining/ socialising as a family or large groups. The kitchen table comfortably seats large parties. There is also a utility room with washing machine facilities. The house has a lawned garden & small patio area to the rear.(Lovely in the summer months. ) Upstairs on the first floor there is a master/family bedroom with a king size bed & also a single with a balcony overlooking the garden. Second bedroom at the front of the house has a double bed and there is a family bathroom with a roll top bath. Additionally there are 2 further single bedrooms next to a shower room/WC We have a travel cot for infants if required. All bedding & towels are provided. Guests will have sole use of the entire home, as well as the garden area. There will always be someone to greet you upon arrival and to show you around If you wish. Alternatively you will be given the keys via a secure key safe & left to check yourself in. You will always be able to contact someone should you need to. Alternatively I'm always at the end of the phone for any queries during the day. Once you have settled in I will generally be quite 'hands off' host who will leave you to your own devices. The house is situated in a very rural countryside area so transport is a must. We are situated on the edge of the Wyre forest, which has great places for walks cycling and nature watching as well as various other activities including go ape adventures for adults and children. The local town of Bewdley is well served with shops and a good variety of places to eat. The tourist information site provides more information about museums, houses, gardens and arboretums in and around the Georgian town and its historic area. The seven valley railway runs from Kidderminster through Bewdley and on via Arley, highly and Hampton load to Bridgnorth offering plenty of opportunities for varied days out by train. West Midlands Safari Park is also just outside Bewdley and provides another family day out if you would like to see the area by foot there is Worcestershire way and seven way which is also perfect for cyclists In the opposite direction we have the town of Cleobury Mortimer with plenty of places to eat and drink. Following on from there is Ludlow an historic town with a castle Award winning restaurants and plenty of things to do. Hopefully all of this will keep you going for now, however if you would like any more information on the local area please ask There is a bus route about a mile away but this is a very rural setting so guests will need their own transport. There is plenty of parking on the drive. This really is a perfect place to escape so I hope you will appreciate being able to escape persistent phone calls, mobile phones do work but reception varies between networks, locations, Times and depending on the weather.
