Drom Aluinn Luxury Bed & Breakfast

Our luxury rooms are large with French doors onto verandah, full ensuite & fully cooked breakfast.Views across the Cathedral & Blue Ranges located on the main road between Healesville & Alexandra 2 hrs from Melbourne. We have 2 bedrooms available. The name "Drom Aluinn" is Irish meaning Beautiful Mountain, we have a stunning view across the Acheron Valley that we wish to share with others through our B&B. We have 3 double rooms available (2 are ensuited & the other has a shared bathroom with clawfoot bath) Guest lounge, BBQ area, Alfresco. You are also welcome to roam the farm or sit on the verandah & relax and enjoy the views As little or as much as the guests want. Alexandra is a short 10 minute drive, Lake Eildon 25 minutes, Lake Mountain 35 minutes and Mt Buller 75 minutes. Visit wineries and restaurants, craft and antique shops, museums and markets at all the towns in between. Try your hand at boating on Lake Eildon, skiing at either Lake Mountain or Mt Buller, bushwalking around Marysville & Cathedral Range, trout fishing or just sit and relax with a good book. There is a McKenzies bus that runs from Melbourne to Alexandra which runs past the property. If you let the driver know that you want to get off at Moir Lane they will stop out the front & we can drive down to collect you and your bags. There is plenty of parking available on site. Complimentary chocolates on arrival. Lunch hampers available on request. Evening meals can be provided.
