Stour Provost is a quaint rural village nestled in the heart of the Black more vale with easy access to Gillingham, Sturminster Newton and Shaftesbury. It's ideal for those who like the country style life, with fantastic rural walks on the doorstep and further local attractions like Stourhead House and Grounds, Sherbourne Castle, Salisbury Cathedral and Shopping Centre, Stonehenge and other beautiful towns such as Frome a short distance away. Places such as The New Forest, Sea Side Towns of the Jurassic Coast such as Bournemouth, Swanage and Lulworth are only an hours Drive. There are always local Events and Markets in and around the area with plenty of restaurants and Country pubs should you fancy it. There is A bus Service that runs hourly from the main road at Stour Provost, This Service runs to Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Blandford and Sturminster Newton. Other Bus routes can be accessed from these towns. Gillingham has a train Station running services to Yeovil, Dorchester, Salisbury and London. We also have a good range of taxis services too.
