Private stand alone home with private parking on spacious organic farmland (21 hectares/79 acres). Live among the grapes, fruit trees, and vegetable gardens during your tranquil getaway. Lakes, and walking/biking paths, ride along the trails leading to the lake, inside the property or reach quickly the famous medieval town of Brisighella, with the Venetian fortress, its festivals and its many cozy restaurants. The house has everything that you would need for three to four people and the pool is only a short walk from the cottage. You will enjoy the nature and the wild life in Brisighella at the house. You'll be visited by squirrels, ghiros and other friendly animals. If you have questions and need help we can help you with tips and practical counseling. U can also eat the vegetables and fruit that are growing in the farm's garden. **You will need to have a car to travel around in Brisighella. Highly recommend to take the train to Florence for the day, it's quite easy and funny. In addition to the chalet and terrace, and surrounding lawn area. You can wander through the farm land and explore the lakes and the river. Make yourself at home at Ca' di Ballo! Pets are allowed but they should be kind to the pets that live on the property (3 dogs, several cats, and chickens). Your cottage is far enough from the main house and you can let your dog free, around your garden and terrace. We are happy to help you out during your stay. Due to its position – between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany – and to a favourable road network, Brisighella is a very handy starting point for trips and escursions.. For a quick trip the ideal destination is Faenza, the world famous city of artistic pottery, only a few kilometers away.. Ravenna and Florence too are close and the road leading to Florence, across the Colla pass, affords one of the most beautiful view of the Appennini mountains. Florence and Faenza can be reached by car, but as well with the picturesque Dante's railroad that links them directly. The Brisighella train station is a 25 minute walk away from Ca' di Ballo. From there you can reach many places from Faenza to Florence.
