Local amenities include garage & spar shop, village shop, bakery, chip shop & park with childrens play equipment. Nearest Tesco is in Redruth just under two miles away. Bissoe to Portreath cycle path & cycle hire, plus Barncoose nursury & Penventon nursury are all with a two mile radius. Local buses run half hourly through the village and the main line train station is in Redruth along with several local taxi companies. Excellent local beaches on both coasts easily accessible by car.
