Chardonnay Cottage at Tranquil Vale Vineyard

Nestled on a peaceful bend of the Hunter River, Tranquil Vale is a 25-acre boutique , second generation family run vineyard. We’re passionate about sharing what we have created with our guests and are delighted to welcome you to the Hunter Valley. Chardonnay Cottage is one of three self-contained two-bedroom home away from homes, privately nestled on the highest  point of the property to make the most of the lavish views over our vines, the Hunter River and surrounds. Chardonnay Cottage has been architecturally designed with both entertainment and privacy in mind. The dining and lounge areas are open plan maximising space and light, while the aspect encourages the gentle country cross breeze. Modern reverse air conditioning is installed to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. Floor to ceiling windows and French Doors open from the kitchen and living area on to the verandah. When it's time to retreat inside, the wood fireplace gives a cosy and romantic ambiance for those cooler evenings. The bedrooms are intimate with comfortable beds, blackout & privacy curtains, and ceiling fans to ensure a great nights sleep and long relaxing mornings. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom can either be made up as a king bed or two single beds. An additional single  bed can be added to the second bedroom upon request; for a one-time $60 fee. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need to cook up a small feast or a simple meal. A breakfast pack is provided for the first morning, including local free range bacon and eggs, homemade jam, milk and butter from our local dairy farm (Udder Farm) as well as muesli, orange juice and our winemaker Connie's famous homemade sourdough bread. Additional breakfast items can be ordered individually or full breakfast packs can be purchased for $55.  - 15 metre salt water swimming pool - Small Gymnasium with treadmill, exercise bike & weights - Floodlit tennis court (racquets & tennis balls supplied) - Gas BBQ - undercover eating area with lighting. Cricket, Football, Pool equipment available - Children's playground with cubby house, swings and slide - Selection of DVD Videos available from the Office We live on the property and are always around for a wine tasting or if you have any questions. Luskintyre is so peaceful and picturesque that you may not want to leave... However, if you do feel like venturing out, we are conveniently located a short drive from Lovedale, Pokolbin and many Hunter Valley attractions including restaurants, cellar doors, Hunter Valley Zoo, Hunter Valley Gardens, the Vintage Golf Course, Hunter Valley Chocolate Factory and The Smelly Cheese Shop (just to mention a few!). Tranquil Vale is an award winning boutique vineyard producing single vineyard Hunter Valley Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz. We offer complimentary tastings for our guests at our on-premise cellar door - see you there! :) You are free to walk around the property and explore the vineyard and meet our small mob of sheep, friendly dogs + Angus calf but please keep in mind that we are a working vineyard and there may be farm equipment in operation.
