Lavender Cottage

Lavender Cottage is a detached chalet, with modern and old fusion, everything you will need for a cosy getaway, it is surrounded with outstanding rural views and there are plenty of local places of historical interest to visit nearby, also great for people who enjoy the great outdoors with plenty of walks, cycling routes in the nearby Forest of Dean and horse riding. May hill itself is a fantastic place to visit with outstanding panoramic views . There are lots of local places to eat. We can accommodate people who would like to bring their own horse on holiday, with a wealth of riding it would be a great holiday for horse and rider. Lavender Cottage is self contained, guests have access to their own private garden with chairs and a table there is also a BBQ for that summer alfresco dining. There are plenty of local walks to take time and enjoy the scenery. The owners live on site and always available should they be needed. We are a short distance from May Hill village, where you can enjoy a drink and something to eat at the local pub, it is very popular in the summer with a beautiful beer garden to sit in and watch life pass by. This place requires you own vehicle. guests are welcome to walk and enjoy our farm, there are fabulous views from all parts of the farm, we have a beautiful woodland of mainly old oaks some of which are beautiful very old specimens. There is a quirky place in the woods where you can go and sit and enjoy the animals and nature. The farm is a fabulous stay in all the seasons, there is a wealth natural beauty not to mention quiet tranquility.
