This is my happy place. Kim's Cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house sitting right in the middle of one acre of land. It has a privacy fence in the back and faces a huge culvert with hidden trails for nature lovers. It's in a secluded subdivision on a dead end street half a mile off US 69 with easy access to I-10, US-287 S/US-96. It has easy access to the surrounding area Refineries, University, Hospitals, Shopping, local attractions and Downtown area. Quite country setting in the city. It's has easy and fast access to all the major industries. Located in Beaumont and 10 to 15 Miles from Port Arthur, Nederland, Groves area attractions. Guest will have access to the entire house. There's NO SMOKING in the house, but there's a nice back porch for smokers. Or your can take a walk around the 1 acre property or take a stroll down the street to the canal and enjoy a nature walk. It’s known for the Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum, a recreated town showing life in the early 1900s, at the start of the Texas oil boom. Downtown, the early-20th-century McFaddin-Ward House, now a museum, reflects the wealth of the family who lived there. The Art Museum of Southeast Texas and the Dishman Art Museum showcase regional and national contemporary art. WASH ROOM: DO NOT leave washer unattended while water is filing tub. Only wash Small to Medium loads. KITCHEN: The coffee pot uses pods or ground coffee. It has the insert for the ground coffee, but the insert for the pods is in the cabinet with the dishes to the right of the sink or in the pantry. BATHROOMS: When taking showers please make sure to secure the shower curtains. If water goes onto the floor, pleas wipe up immediately. There will be cleaning towels left under the bathroom sink for such spills. hang wet towels on hanger in laundry room to dry and/or put in laundry basket for cleaning crew.
