Charming 19th c. house in a park with tennis court

Charming house adjoining an 18th century mansion, in a large wooded park with a private tennis court. The house in which you will stay has been restored and furnished with antique furniture while respecting its rural character of the 19th century. You will enjoy a soothing wooded environment, surrounded by century-old cedars. You will cross a lime tree path to the tennis court. The house has a surface area of 90 m2. We accept 6 people only, for an additional person please contact us beforehand. In winter, the house has central heating and a Jøtul wood stove. Ground floor: kitchen 17 m2, living room 25 m2 with a bread oven, old oak floor, bathroom 7m2 completely renovated. First floor: 3 bedrooms of about 13 m2 each. Pine flooring. The whole house is made of exposed or painted beams. Old-fashioned plaster walls. For babies : bathtub and plastic dishes, leak-proof cup, potty, high chair, folding crip. The park behind the house is surrounded by high dry stone walls, the courtyard in front of the house too, with a stone porch. Young children will not be able to find themselves on the road. Independent entrance. Whole house at your disposal. On sunny days, you will have a large table in the park for dinners under the lime trees with fairy lights or breakfasts with the morning sun. We will share the tennis court and badminton court. We will be happy to share with you our good addresses, bathing spots, hiking trails, restaurants... We will not always be there to welcome you personally, either because we work or because, like you, we will be on holiday. But there will always be someone to welcome you and we will always be available on the phone if you have any question. We are on the way out of the village, we can lend you adult bicycles for a ride in the village. The bathing spots are located on the Célé river (Marcilhac, Brengues, Sauliac...), in the Lot on the Dordogne river (Le vieux chêne à Montvalent, Gluges...), on the Lot river (Saint Cirq lapopie, Larnagol...), and many other beaches along these rivers. There are also a water park in Gramat (15km) and one in Figeac (20 km) There is a train station in the village. We provide you with two tennis rackets and badminton rackets. During the summer, a badminton court is set up. You will have deckchairs and a hammock. Located in the Regional Natural Park 'Causses du Quercy' in the centre of several famous listed sites (Figeac, Rocamadour, St-Cirq Lapopie, Gouffre de Padirac, Grotte de Pech Merle). Assier is a pretty village in the Causse with a grocery store, a butchery, a pharmacy, a post office, a station, cafés, restaurants and a Renaissance castle. For fishermen, possibility to dedicate yourself to your passion with the "no kill courses in the Bave", "passion course" and "night carp in the Lot", fishing in the Dordogne, in the Vers.... There is also a fishing pond in the village. For amateur astronomers, you can enjoy an exceptional starry sky thanks to the black triangle of the Quercy Causses. Speleologists will be able to indulge their passion in the numerous surrounding caves.
