Your family will love our 2 bedroom treehouses, which are nestled amongst tropical rainforest in total privacy, 100m from any other guest accommodation and with views out over the Wooroonooran National Park. Watch sunrise while listening to the birds on your spacious balcony, cosy up next to the wood stove with a good book or explore the rainforest and see wildlife on our 9kms of walking trails. Your Two Bedroom Treehouse is spread over 2 levels, with the main bedroom, living, dining, kitchen and bathroom downstairs and a second bedroom on the mezzanine level. Included in your stay is a breakfast hamper with enough provisions for the first morning of your stay. Your treehouse also comes with full kitchen facilities, including an outdoor BBQ, 4 pot gas cooktop, convection microwave oven (will cook a small roast), medium size fridge, all crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, and condiments (salt/pepper/oil). So if you wish to prepare your own meals, shop before you arrive so that you can enjoy relaxing in the rainforest. Malanda (15 minutes drive) and Yungaburra (20 minutes drive) both have good supermarkets. Alcohol can be purchased at bottle shops in both townships. Please be aware that due to our current policies and government restrictions around COVID-19, the exact treehouse you book may not be available due to extensive cleaning procedures between guests. You will enjoy your own private treehouse at least 100m away from any other guest accommodation. The rainforest is yours to explore with 4 different walks totalling 9kms to see creeks, waterfalls, wildlife and even a giant Rose Gum - a 600 year old tree. We also have a full sized tennis court for guest use. We will be available for emergencies during your stay but will be practicing social distancing. The Cairns Highlands covers an area extending from the villages of Julatten and Kuranda in the north, to the outback town of Chillagoe in the west and south to Ravenshoe and Mt Garnet. It is made up of the Evelyn, Hann and Atherton Tablelands, hence its local name of the Tablelands. We are a comfortable 1.5 hours drive from Cairns City & Airport, 30 minutes from Atherton, 25 minutes from Yungaburra and 20 minutes from Malanda.
