Double En-Suite Room with parking available in a newly build house. These AC luxurious room is fully serviced by a maid, so will be cleaned and made up daily. There is the option for breakfast, lunch and dinner being prepared for an additional charge, as well as a laundry and ironing service. The whole house and rooms are clean throughout. Room is in upstaires and you will have an access to balcony. Rooms available on a daily basis or for longer. Very good location to access to Colombo. Clean, bright and spacious and furnished to high standards. It is located in a residential part of Colombo (Capital of Sri Lanka). There are some typical Sri Lankan shops at the top of the road, (grocery store, hardware store, takeaway, etc). It is very easy to hail a Tuk Tuk from the road at the top of the lane. Although house is in capital ( Colombo );During the day, Monkeys occasionally visit us and can be seen playing around! Small fluffy squirrels (who can be a bit noisy at times! Squeaking and chirping all day long) If you are lucky, you may even see some fireflies! There is a beautiful buddhas statue in the garden and Kamala's (House keeper's) Vegetable and fruit plants in the garden. You can use the kitchen, lounge/dining area and garden shared with other guests. I don’t live at the property, however, I do have a housekeeper and she will be there to look after you. If you have any issues you can either speak with the housekeeper or to myself. Please note Kamala the house keeper is not speaking good English. House keeper, Kamala is very friendly and helpful. She would be happy to help you with anything or be your company if or when needed. I’m available on the phone, air B&B messages and (Hidden by Airbnb) . Please note I am living in the UK and the time difference is around 5 hours behind Sri Lanka. If you need an immediate response, the housekeeper is at the property 24/7 and will be happy to help. House is in a very residential area. We have a beautiful Buddhist temple 2 min walk from the property. Anybody is welcome to visit, you can see the magnificent Bodhi tree, statues of Buddha, relax, meditate or just have some fresh air. There is car parking available if you are using a car. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Rajagiriya Junction for $0.55. Once you are in Rajagiriya Junction, you will find the bus stops. The bus network is well connected and you can travel anywhere from there. You will find a great place to stop a passing Tuk Tuk which is only a minute walk from the house. The maid will be more than happy to book an Uber or local taxi. Please note always use meter taxis. Please ensure you check the location of the property before you make the booking. (Hidden by Airbnb) location pin may confuse you so ensure you follow my guidance for the location. Kamala our house keeper does not speak very good English. Please speak slowly and clearly to her and you will not have any issues or alternatively you may speak to me via phone/ (Hidden by Airbnb) . Telecom Unlimited Wi-Fi is provided free of charge at the property. If there is excessive usage, provider will reduce the speed of internet. We have no control over this. We will provide you a personal router which you will be able to add credit on at your own expense according to your needs. Meals and drinks and laundery services can provided for an additional charge. Please note housekeeper go on her leave once a month, these days services may be limited. Main entrance area can be slippery in rainy days.
