Holyford self-contained flat on eco-smallholding
Holyford flat is a self-contained first floor flat with outdoor stairs for access. It has a large bedroom and a wonderful living room with a large open fireplace and windows facing South, overlooking the garden, small children's play area and in the distance a 15th century farmhouse. It is situated on a beautiful 4 acre eco-smallholding, down a quiet lane next to Holyford ancient woodlands yet is very close to the many varied Jurassic coast beaches. Free, seasonal homegrown organic vegetables are available for guests during their stay. The flat has its own entrance and comprises most of the first floor of the house. The water supplied is spring water (filtered and UV-treated) and hot water comes from our wood-fired biomass boiler. Normally 1 double bed and 2 bunk beds in bedroom, however this can be adapted to suit guests' needs. Living room has a double sofa bed. Free to explore the 4 acre smallholding -please accompany children. Small outside seating area. Use of small play area and trampoline under adult supervision. Please use the zip on trampoline safety net! Guests are always welcome to knock on our door or phone/message us for info or help. There is usually someone around if needed. Holyford Woods ancient woodland. Excellent cliff walks (eg Beer to Branscombe) Beautiful countryside esp near Farway and Southleigh. Colyton to Seaton tramway. Seaton wetlands. Pecorama model railway. Jurassic coast and fossil hunting. River Axe estuary. Local surf beaches (we can advise). Local sea and river fishing (likewise, we can advise!) Wet weather -Exeter museum, local swimming pools, Pecorama indoor play area for kids.
