A spacious ensuite room, including dining table and TV lounge area. In a quiet leafy street, walking distance to Watson shops (supermarket, the Knox cafe, great take away & Filipino restaurant), public transport, Mt Majura nature park, farmers market, and the Exhibition Park in Canberra. This is a single big room, including bed, sofa, dining table, and attached ensuite with shower, toilet, and kitchen basin. The room suits either twin share or couples, as well as accommodating children to a maximum of 3 guests. It is not suited for three adults and we reserve the right to decline those bookings. While it does not have a full kitchen, facilities include a bar fridge, toaster, microwave, and breakfast bar. The room has a 65" HD television with Chromecast capacity (download the app before you arrive and stream all your media) & Blu-ray player. There is also a quality stereo including Bluetooth connectivity to stream audio from your devices. Wifi provided. The studio is not completely soundproof: you will hear some noises come through the adjoining wall with the kitchen & dining area in our family house, including musical instruments at times. Windows are double glazed and we have a very effective reverse cycle air conditioning for heating and cooling. We provide Foxtel HD Sports and Entertainment package. While we are happy to accommodate pets, currently we do not have a fenced external area, so pets will need to be closely supervised and any needs provided for by the owners, eg sleeping mats and feeding bowls. It is a lovely suburb for walking and there is a leash-free nature park nearby. We like to show how the studio works and set you up with some basic breakfast provisions, and then leave you to it unless you need us. We live in the adjoining house and are only a phone call or text away if you do need help. We are in a quiet leafy suburb, in walking distance from Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) and the weekly farmers' market. It is a 10 minute walk to the Antill St Tram Stop and only 1 minute to the bus. Very close to local bus-stop, a 1km walk to light-rail, and good access Melbourne and Sydney highways, as well as the snow fields. While the main queen bed suits a single or couple, it can accommodate two singles via a separate trundle bed. We can also accommodate a child as a 3rd person, but as described above the room does not suit 3 adults. Linen and towels supplied. Microwave, small fridge, kettle, iron, handheld vacuum, and toaster.
