A place to relax and enjoy

Our bright and cheerful home is between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood. We are just a few minutes drive from the Ormeau train station. The guests bedroom has a Queen size bed. Our guests will have their own bathroom whilst staying with us. We will provide a modest continental breakfast and tea/coffee making facilities. I can arrange a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs and tomato if requested for a reasonable hour. The home has ducted air conditioning. The BBQ area is accessed on the verandah and meals can be consumed either on the verandah or the main living area. The kitchen can be used by guests, we just request that you leave the dishes for me to clean 🧼 as some have particular care instructions. The laundry consists of a washing machine that guests are free to use and we provide laundry detergent, with a clothes line at the side. We have a fridge for your own private use. If you are 2 friends and need a separate bed, please let me know as I do have another bed available (not as spacious area). This will be provided at no extra cost. You will share the same bathroom with each other. This accomodation is for a maximum of 2 people. A stand up/ sit down desk with office chair available for work purposes in a separate room. We do have a Thermomix that cannot be used without supervision. If you are curious on how it works, more than happy to give a demonstration. We do have some gym equipment and happy for our guests to use. We do have 2 Pomeranians and are generally well behaved. We also have goldfish out the front entrance in the pond. Our guests will have access to their bedroom, their own bathroom, lounge room, kitchen, laundry, verandah and BBQ area. We will provide our guests with privacy. I will be available to give you tips on where to go if needed. Our neighbourhood is a quiet area. There is a tennis court that is used free of charge to the public only a short walking distance from our house. There are several park areas dotted around the neighbourhood. We are 12 minutes away from Dreamworld and 15 minutes from Movieworld. Brisbane is about an hour by train or 40 minutes by car. Surfers Paradise is approximately 40 minutes by car. There is a bus stop just a short walk from our house . The bus will take you to the Ormeau train station. We may be able to assist with pickup from train station if possible and with suitable prior notice. We recommend you have your own car to get around. There is strictly no food/drink or smoking in bedrooms at all Pets live on this property.
