Salford is a small village located on the edge of the Cotswolds very close to the Oxfordshire town of Chipping Norton & near the border to Gloucestershire & Warwickshire so is a great location for accessing Oxford (22miles), Stratford-upon-Avon (21miles) & the Cotswold towns of Bourton on the Water(11miles) & Stow in the Wold (7miles) amongst others. The cottage is in a beautiful rural location with many attractions close by. There are lots of local footpaths for you to explore the area immediately around the village. The village pub serving home cooked meals is a 5min walk away. We are 3.5miles from Chastleton House, 3miles from Daylesford Organic Farm & Blenheim Palace is 15miles away. Salford is located 2miles from Chipping Norton. Nearest train stations are Kingham (5.5miles), Moreton-in-Marsh (6.7miles) or Banbury (14miles). There are some bus services directly to the village. From Chipping Norton there are regular bus services to Oxford, Banbury & Stratford-upon-Avon.
