With rustic features (the small ‘farmers window’ above the bed), beams, antique furniture and views of rolling Devonshire hills, you’ll feel rested in no time. Touches of the bohemian, the whimsical and the magical.... *Please note, the Mill Cottage is located on the ground floor and is suitable for those with access difficulties. Lurcombe Farm sits in the heart of the English countryside, within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Dartmoor landscape undulates and rolling hillsides of green fields encircle an enclave of two beautiful properties, the Mill Cottage and the Granary Barn. Sleeping two, this self-catering accommodation has been renovated and restored with love, with antique furniture, beams, and oodles of character. Set in forty five acres of gorgeous English countryside and on a working farm in a corner of Dartmoor, these two properties are snuggled into the hillside of a secret little valley. The location is ideal for exploring both the moor and the coast and cottage and barn guests have complimentary use of the tennis court, orchards, grounds, fishing lake and stays include a bottle of wine, milk and fresh farm eggs. The Old Flour Mill is situated in the middle of a gorgeous 45 acre farm - easily accessible to the Devon Expressway, the A38 which is only a few minutes drive away. The farm sits in a little hidden valley and you are most welcome to walk around the farm, use the tennis court and fishing lake. Close to the town of Ashburton this is a great mix of country & town a few minutes drive away. The owners have an award winning restaurant / cafe located 15 mins drive from the accommodation.
