Come and take a walk on the wild side in our lovingly restored horse lorry; Bertha. Whether you want to trot into town, jump into the River Wye or canter to the nearest pub, we're sure we'll have something you love. Located within 500 acres of our Herefordshire family farm with plenty of walks & plenty of pubs. For those that want to delve a little further, The Malverns, Forest of Dean & South Wales are a stones throw away. The living space is based in the Lorry, where you'll find a cosy king size bed up in the luton of the lorry & a double fold out sofa bed for those that don't want a clamber. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, kettle, toaster & most importantly fridge with ice box for those crisp cold sundowners. Whilst Bertha can sleep 4 adults, she's better suited to 2 adults & children. The woodbuner, comfy sofa, WiFi & smart TV mean you'll be able to keep up with all your latest shows whilst your away. The bathroom is in the trailer & is fully fitted with walk in power shower and all the normal WC facilities. We are a working family farm, so someone is always around & you can see us as much or as little as you like. 500 acres of farmland to explore & access to many miles of footpaths. The market town of Ross-on-Wye is only a mile away. Although there is good access to local buses a car is a wise choice for exploring the local area. Whilst Bertha is set in a secluded field, the A40 is not a million miles away, it's fantastic for access but there is a certain amount of road noise. Not enough to ruin your stay, but worth mentioning.
