Quaint and Quiet Farm Retreat by Trollhaugen

Come enjoy country living just an hour northeast of the Twin Cities. Modernized guest house on 16 acres surrounded by rolling farmland, prairie, and trees. Very peaceful and secluded with the sounds of nature all around. Visit Trollhaugen down the road for skiing or snowboard in the winter and zip lining in the summer. Located 10 minutes from Osceola, St. Croix Falls and Taylors Falls. For those considering working remotely, we do have reliable wifi throughout the home. Polk County ID #: 76776 Please be aware there are two queen beds that will fit 2 guests each - one is a trundle style bed with two twin mattresses next to each other. It is possible to sleep 5 with one person on the couch. Please send us a direct message if you're interested in bringing pets. We live just up the driveway and are typically around to help if any issues arise. We would love to share a beer and get to know our guests! We live in a rural setting, but there are numerous things all within a 5-10 minute drive from our place. Get brunch at The Watershed Cafe in Osceola then walk down and see the falls. Get a taste of the north shore by hiking at Interstate State Park! Cross country ski on the Stower Seven Lakes Trail! Best of all, relax on the porch and watch the sun set. Please bear in mind, our house is in a rural setting. This means that wildlife and people may cross paths. Our property is also adjacent to a working cattle ranch so you may witness real cows and real smells :)
