Its brand new! We have just finished our tractor shed conversion and opened it up for accommodation. Its beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Ive always thought the important part of a stay is a good shower, comfortable temperatures in any weather and a good bed. Guests have exclusive use to the bedroom/lounge room, walk in robe and ensuite with bidet. There is also a games room with ping pong table, dart board that is theirs to enjoy. I live in a farm house near by the accommodation. As such issues can be easily resolved. Its nice sometimes to share a glass of wine with a guest, but I wouldnt want to intrude on their stay. Lower Belford is on the other side of the Hunter Expressway/New England Highway to the Vineyards of the Hunter Valley. The cellar doors are within a 15 minute drive, but Lower Belford is near the banks of the Hunter River and the site of the Hunter's first vineyards. As time has unfolded Lower Belford has turned into a farming area with large land holdings and people farming crops and cattle. Its a very quiet, pretty area that has quick access to all the Hunters attractions. Typically our guests are here to visit the Hunter Valley wine region or attend the concerts there. Public transport options are quite limited but many private companies will pick up from the site and take you to desired venues.
