Athelney Cottage Bed and Breakfast
A self contained b&b cottage with all the comfort you need.Only a few minutes walk to Adelaide city, botanical gardens ,the Convention centre ,Adelaide oval. Close by is the Wine Centre, Ellington Reception, Sports Medicine, Clipsal and Botanic Park. There is a private entry . 2 ADULTS 2 CHILDREN Athelney Cottage is one of the few self contained bed and breakfast accommodations right near the main attractions of the city of Adelaide. It has a French Provincial theme and a lovely garden to relax in. There is a King Size Bed (which can be changed to two king singles) a double sofa bed or a single bed and stretcher bed Guests can walk into the city to all the cultural places, and enjoy the Botanical gardens. It is a great stop over on the way to Kangaroo Island. The wine districts are easily got to by car or bus. The host Rosie will meet and greet you on arrival and will show you your Cottage or Studio both are independent containing a small kitchen and laundry. The host lives on site for any enquiries. Hackney is in the edge of the CBD and has some of the oldest trees in Adelaide. It is very green and pretty and very quiet. There is public transport close by and some of the tour company's will pick up to take to the wine districts. There is off street parking for guests or a parking permit for the street. To get to Athelney Cottage from the airport is a $20 taxi fare. Most guests who stay at Athelney Cottage comment how restful it is home away from home. It is independent with all breakfast provisions provided for your stay. There is a pretty court yard with BBQ and is completely private. Opposite this is the EXECUTIVE SUITE which can accommodate 2 adults. They can be used in conjunction with each other. great for weddings. Both are dogs friendly The Host will meet and greet you on arrival and show you where to go, Being so close to the city it is hard to believe the old trees and the birds. The botanical gardens across the road are beautiful. Yes, 1 minute walk from major bus route into and out of city The city centre is a 10 minute walk and the Botanical gardens are across the road. The Wine Centre is 2 minutes walk very close to all main attractions the Adelaide oval is 20 minutes away . Botanic Park is end of the street where concerts are held including Womad
